The other day it was pouring down rain and making all kinds of fun mud puddles in our backyard (which right now consists only of dirt!) Grace really wanted to go play outside, but I told her it was too wet and cold. She responded, “I know, I could put on my rain coat and boots and then go outside!” I had to admit it was a good idea, so that’s what she did. After being out there a little while she popped her head into the kitchen through the sliding door and said, “It’s raining so our flowers will grow!”Today it was sunny again, although very windy...we're still waiting for those backyard flowers (we may be waiting a long time!)
