This morning Grace went on a preschool fieldtrip to the fire station. The Fire-fighters taught the kids about fire safety, showed them how they put their fire suits on in a hurry, and demonstrated how a fire-fighter breathes through an oxygen mask (among other things.) Grace was actually scared of the fire-man when he had his big face mask and hat on. She had a lot more fun during the fire truck demonstration outside. She even got to spray the fire-hose! I just love being able to watch my children learn about the world around them. Everything is so fascinating... everything is so new!
