One Year Old

We celebrated Eve's first birthday last night...and what a simply wonderful first year it has been! She is such a fun baby. Although she is definitely a handful, Eve is so good natured and has a way making you smile.

Aaron's parents and some of his siblings came over for our little party. We had a chocolate pumpkin-shaped cake and Eve opened presents from both sets of grandparents, her aunt and uncle, Mommy and Daddy, and even Grace (who wrapped up one of her own toys for her sister...sweet.)

The highlight of the evening was when Eve got to eat her own little cake (and she did just that...ate the whole thing!) It was hilarious. She really got in to it, and had everyone rolling with laughter. I think the pictures will explain a lot better than I can!
