I have tried to teach Grace to tie her shoes in the past, but gave up thinking it was a skill she'd just have to learn in the future. Then a couple of days ago Aaron showed her how to do it again and she caught right on. The next morning I found her tying her own shoes without a bit of help! I guess sometimes Dad just has the right touch! Thanks Aaron!

There are a couple of things that I don't look forward to teaching my kids to do, that is one of them! It is so hard to learn!
yeah for Grace! and those converse are too cute...but I think you need to add some bling on them :)
i have to have those converse! adorable! there must be something special about that color because i learned to tie my shoes on the tiny laces of my pink mocassins. my mom finally had to put them in the gar-bage when i wasn't looking because i wore them until there was almost nothing left. like a true little resourceful indian would have!
I know exactly which moccasins you are referring to Char! I have a picture of you as a five or six year old in a dark purple, floral dress and long white socks with those very same pink shoes!
